As CEO of Gather, Andreea Grigore is a driving force in the vacation rental industry with groundbreaking strategies that empower property managers and accelerate growth. From 2016 to 2021, Andreea was the Vice President of Rentals at Elite Pacific, where her vision for a more collaborative and scalable model helped the company grow beyond Hawaii. That expansion led to the creation of Gather Vacations, which now serves property managers and guests on a national scale. Under Andreea’s leadership, Gather strategically spun-off its long-term rental division into Pono Property Management, where she continues to guide Pono’s growth as a board member.

Andreea has nearly 20 years of experience in the vacation rental industry, spanning sales & marketing, operations, strategy and business development. Her extensive industry knowledge, strategic mindset, and talent for inspiring and empowering teams are central to Gather’s continued success. As an advocate for responsible vacation rental policies, Andreea founded HILSTRA (Hawaii Legal Short-Term Rental Alliance) to support fair regulation and sustainable industry practices. She believes that responsibly managed vacation rentals can fuel local economies, generate jobs, and provide meaningful support to local businesses.

As a working mom raising two young children in Hawaii, Andreea is also passionate about fostering a flexible and supportive workplace that allows her team to thrive personally as well as professionally.

Aurelie Tanguy, CFA, is a dynamic business leader who joined Gather as Chief Operating Officer (COO) in the summer of 2024, bringing with her 16 years of experience in the financial sector. As COO, Aurelie plays a pivotal role in driving the company's operational success, leading teams across Marketing, Guest Experience, Portfolio, Technology and Compliance to support local Property Managers in delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring the care of homes entrusted to Gather by homeowners.
Before joining Gather, Aurelie had a distinguished career in the financial industry, specializing in structured products and investment management. She spent over a decade at Barclays, where she held various senior leadership roles, most recently as Managing Director and Head of Structuring for Barclays Investment Managers. Earlier, she served as Head of Structured Products for Barclays Private Bank, developing innovative financial solutions for institutional and high-net-worth clients.
Aurelie grew up in Montreal, Canada, and studied Engineering at McGill University. She later pursued a Master of Science in Financial Engineering at Columbia University in New York, where she laid the foundation for her successful career in banking.
With a passion for both the financial and operational aspects of business, Aurelie is committed to helping Gather build a strong foundation for sustainable growth while delivering exceptional value to customers, partners, and stakeholders

Matt joined Corcoran Pacific Properties in January 2020 and is a certified public accountant with over 25 years of finance and accounting experience. After working early in his career in public accounting with Ernst & Young, Matt moved into industry to work in financial reporting and eventually controllership where he had spent the past 20 years working in large multinational, publicly-traded companies before joining Corcoran. Most recently Matt spent the last five years at TPI Composites in Scottsdale, Arizona where, as Vice President Controller, he was instrumental in completing TPI’s initial public offering, building up the back office finance teams and aiding in revenues growing five-fold during his tenure.

Matt lives in Tempe, Arizona with his wife and two sons and spends his free time being as active as possible and watching his boys participate in youth sports.

With over 15 years of experience in finance and operations, Chris brings a passion for building scalable systems, empowering teams, and driving growth. Growing up in New York City shaped Chris' entrepreneurial mindset and instilled the drive to build from the ground up—an approach that continues to guide his work today.

Chris is especially passionate about addressing the evolving needs of the short-term rental industry—particularly in areas like compliance, guest experience, and owner transparency.
